New Posts Hoover Crappies are Huge this year.
In 2007 Hoover Reservoir had tons of 7 to 9 inch crappies. Now the crappie are in the 9 to 11 inch size range. I've been catching quite a few of them as well as small ones. Has anyone else been catching big crappie this year at Hoover or any other Central Ohio lakes like Griggs or Delaware?

Old Posts High gas prices are really effecting fishing
The high price of gas is really effecting fishing in the Buckeye State and beyond. I've taken alot less trips to Lake Erie this year because on the average trip I spend over $250 on gas alone. What are some things youre doing to cut the price of gas on your fishing trips?

Old Posts Findley Lake State Park
Findley Lake has to be one of my favorite fishing spots. It's quiet, peaceful and I catch lots of healthy fish at the lake. It's a phenomenal bass fishery. Not including Lake Erie what are the best Bass, Crappie, Walleye and catfish lakes in North Eastern Ohio?

Old Posts Grand Lake or Indian Lake for Crappie?
I've caught tons of huge crappie at Grand Lake however, some say that Indian Lake is a better fishery. What do you think?

Old Posts Has the bass season made your fishing better?
The bass season at Lake Erie seems to have done quite a bit for the fish population. Of course the weekend that the season comes in there are so many tournaments on the lake that its difficult to catch a fish. What do you think about Lake Erie's bass season.

Old Posts What's your Favorite South Eastern Ohio Lake?
My favorite South Eastern Ohio Lake has to be Lake Hope. The electric motor only rule and small boat ramp keep the Lake quiet. What's your favorite Lake?
