Saugeye in the 10 to 16inch range are being caught throughout the lake. Anglers are having the most success by trolling nightcrawler harnesses around main lake points in 8-20 feet of water. Concentrate on angling during the early morning hours, the late evening hours and at night. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing is slow but steady. Anglers should look for rocky areas with access to deep water or main lake drop offs. Deep diving crankbaits like Bill Norman DD22’s are ideal for these types of areas. Catfish are being caught sporadically on softcraws, shad and nightcrawlers. Try the areas north of the Sunbury Rd bridge crossing and east of the Oxbow Rd area.
